About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Performance QA Lead to spearhead our India Team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in performance testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in leading high-performing teams and developing strategic testing approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead performance testing teams and mentor team members to drive excellence in testing and quality assurance
  • Establish and maintain performance testing standards, processes, and best practices to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop and oversee end-to-end performance testing strategies across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers to ensure effective communication and project success
  • Demonstrate expertise in Agile/Scrum development environments and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 7+ years total experience in performance testing and quality assurance, with a proven track record of leadership and team management
  • Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with JMeter, with a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in JavaScript programming, with a focus on application development and testing

  • Experience with AI tools in testing or performance analysis, with a demonstrated ability to leverage these tools to drive business value
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours based on business requirements and project demands
  • Experience with cloud-based performance testing and modern application architectures, with a keen eye for scalability and reliability
