Financial Crime and Risk Management Leader

As a key leader, you will drive growth and deliver excellence in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) operations. This role involves leading a high-performing team of professionals who provide AML/KYC services to corporate and consumer clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for AML and KYC operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with technology service providers to build innovative client solutions.
  • Operate the business in line with operating plans and establish key relationships with clients and partners.
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of FCC talent, ensuring they possess the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with practice leaders to promote scalable solutions in the Financial Crimes domain, strengthening the value proposition and improving customer due diligence and PEP screening processes.
  • Provide thought leadership and execute detailed projects, identifying areas of risk and making recommendations for operational improvements, quality assurance, and additional training to mitigate risk.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CAMS certification and prior experience leading delivery in FCC.
  • Experience building, appraising, and handling Service Delivery of regulatory compliance teams with 100+ FTEs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to demonstrate domain and technical understanding of AML/KYC principles, regulations, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with tools like Actimize, RDC, Lexis Nexis, Company House, and Dow Jones, as well as understanding of CDD, EDD, and CIP requirements for compliance under regulations.
