Company Description

Ek Kadam Aur is a registered nonprofit under 501C3 in the USA and 80G in India, dedicated to providing quality education to children from underserved communities in India and Nepal. Our programs aim to bridge educational gaps for neglected children, fostering their growth as future workforce and leaders. We connect communities, teachers, students, and institutions to achieve a vision of an equitable and inclusive society. Since 2015 in the US and 2016 in India, we have been uplifting underprivileged children's lives through education, health, and rural resurgence, ensuring they have better health conditions and quality education.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Bengaluru, with some work from home acceptable, for a Director/Senior Director/Executive Director of Fundraising. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating and maintaining donor relationships, preparing grant proposals, organizing fundraising events, and managing fundraising campaigns. The Director will also oversee donor databases, ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, and work collaboratively with the marketing and program teams to achieve fundraising goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, and grant writing
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of fundraising software and donor management systems
  • Experience in non-profit sector, particularly in education and health
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
