Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool room or machine-building industry with at least 18 years of core supply chain management experience and 10+ years heading complete Sourcing & Supplier Development function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term cost-effective sourcing and supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers for precision-machined components evaluate supplier capabilities quality systems and production capacity.
  • Conduct cost analysis benchmarking and identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing process improvements and vendor consolidation.
  • Manage procurement of imported and locally bought-out parts such as hydraulics mechanical electronics and electrical.
  • Oversee supplier development vendor negotiations and warranty claims management with back-to-back warranty arrangements.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services at optimum cost quality and timelines for machine and mold production.
  • Provide expertise and advisory support for vendor development for new and existing projects.
  • Build and maintain strong buyer-seller and stakeholder relationships.
  • Review departmental SOPs systems and procedures regularly identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements to meet customer requirements consistently.
