Cloud Solution Architect Job

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Microsoft Azure with extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for enterprise-level clients.

This is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps, and a strategic mindset to drive cloud adoption and transformation. As an architect, you will lead the implementation of enterprise-level cloud architectures on the Microsoft Azure platform, define best practices for Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and lead the implementation of enterprise-level cloud architectures on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  2. Define and enforce best practices for Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and governance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural blueprints.
  4. Oversee the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  5. Act as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to development and DevOps teams.
  6. Conduct technical assessments, create migration strategies, and provide expert recommendations on cloud services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an Azure Architect role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with core Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
  • Deep expertise in Azure networking, security (Azure Active Directory, MFA, RBAC), and governance.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certification(s) such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global delivery environment.
