Senior Cloud Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our team and help us design, develop, and maintain our Azure infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions using Microsoft technologies.
  • Oversee and optimize Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain data architectures, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Architect and implement micro services and micro frontends to enhance modularity and scalability of applications.
  • Ensure alignment of standards in tools and software by deploying controls with procurement and PMO teams.
  • Create tribes and communities of practice to cascade standards across the engineering organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve the architecture and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, 10+ years of Solution Architect experience with a strong focus on Azure infrastructure and Microsoft technologies.
  • Proficiency in Azure services and infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with data architecture and analytics tools.
  • Expertise in front-end development using Angular and React.
Technical Skills:
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Identity and Access Management solutions
  • CMS technologies (preferably Sitecore)
  • SQL and NoSQL databases (including Snowflake)
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
