Leading a company through its Series A fundraising round is a high-stakes, fast-paced process that requires a seasoned professional to navigate the complex landscape of venture capital, family offices, and high net worth individuals. As a Fundraising & Valuation Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving this critical phase of growth by identifying and securing strategic partnerships and investments.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, leveraging your expertise in valuations, financial modeling, and capital structuring to create compelling investor decks and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, including VCs, family offices, and HNIs, to establish a robust pipeline of potential partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop financial projections, valuation models, and other key materials necessary for successful fundraising efforts.
  • Oversee due diligence, compliance, and deal structuring to ensure seamless execution and minimal risk.
  • Partner with the CEO in investor meetings, pitches, and negotiations to present the company's vision and secure funding.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance the company's valuation and positioning in the market.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity, with a proven track record of successfully raising funds or closing Series A / growth-stage deals.
  • Strong skills in valuations, financial modeling, and capital structuring, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and create compelling narratives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with investors and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exposure to EdTech, SaaS, or global education sectors is an advantage, but not required.
