Mergers and Acquisitions Expert

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned M&A Advisory professional to advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in transaction leadership, client advisory, financial analysis, deal structuring, relationship management, market intelligence, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Leadership: Execute end-to-end M&A transactions, including origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Client Advisory: Provide strategic advice to clients on potential M&A opportunities, corporate restructuring, divestitures, and capital raising, ensuring alignment with their long-term goals.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform comprehensive financial modelling and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Deal Structuring: Design deal structures that meet client objectives while maximizing value. Oversee negotiations of terms, pricing, and legal documentation.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, banks, legal advisors, and other third-party advisors.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis, client presentations, and deal execution.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (legal, tax, and regulatory) to ensure seamless execution of transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA in Finance or related field.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or private equity raises, with a strong track record of deal advisory experience.
