Job Description

The role of Associate Director Valuation is a senior leadership position that oversees the valuation practice area. The successful candidate will lead the team in providing expert financial analysis and business valuations to clients.

As Associate Director, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective sales and marketing strategies, building strong relationships with peers across assurance, tax, and business consulting, and contributing thought leadership through industry insights and best practices.

You will serve as the primary advisor to clients, manage engagement teams, and oversee the development of valuation professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and revenue in the valuation practice area.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of valuation professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Math, Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or related area) preferred; MBA or other Master's a plus.
  • Professional Certifications: ABV/CPA, ASA, or CFA.
  • Experience: Proven track record in practice development, management, marketing, and thought leadership related to complex financial instruments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as MatLab, R, or Python, and experience with tools like Bloomberg.
