Financial Analyst - Valuation Specialist

As a senior financial analyst, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality valuation and monitoring services to portfolio investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert valuation advice on a range of illiquid investments across various industries
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive valuation models, detailed memos, and presentations
  • Independently sourcing and analyzing data pertinent to investment valuations
  • Addressing client queries in a clear and concise manner
  • Prioritizing and executing multiple assignments, including ad-hoc projects, within tight deadlines
  • Maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to industry best practices

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sound experience in valuation and financial modeling, with expertise in discounted cash flows, market multiples, and market transactions
  • Exposure to US/European primary and secondary markets
  • Strong Excel modeling and analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to independently execute complex assignments under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a professional demeanor

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of third-party databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, and Thomson Reuters
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros
  • Sector knowledge - Real Estate, Shipping, Aircraft, and Oil & Gas

Academic Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent qualification in finance from a reputable institution
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics with CFA (Level II) completed
