
Control Management Specialist

Our team is seeking a highly motivated and organized Control Management Associate to join our Finance group.
Job DescriptionThis role will focus on defining, refining, and delivering set goals for our firm. The ideal candidate will spend each day working closely with team members, location managers, and business control teams to ensure timely and quality completion of applicable phases required to support the creation of the annual LERA report.
- Partner with team members, location managers, and business control teams to identify key compliance risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Collate quantitative and qualitative data sources to assess compliance risk within legal entities.
- Reconcile the firm's legal obligation repository to ensure completeness of Compliance Group representation.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business profile of the Legal Entities being evaluated and comprehend how the compliance risk and control environment can impact overall risk ratings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in Controls, Legal Obligations, Operational and/or Compliance Risk Management. Strong analytical skills, exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, and the ability to work closely with peers responsible for data analysis and assessments are essential. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applications like CORE, ELA, Alteryx is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Controls, Legal Obligations, Operational and/or Compliance Risk Management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applications like CORE, ELA, Alteryx.
