Production Planning and Control Specialist

The Production Planning and Control Specialist is a critical role that requires strong analytical and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of production planning and control processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Job Description:

    The Production Planning and Control Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, managing material requirements, evaluating production capacity, and ensuring inventory levels are optimum. This involves working closely with the production team to plan and schedule production activities in a way that maximizes efficiency and minimizes waste.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, capacity, and inventory levels.• Manage material requirements for production processes, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods.• Evaluate production capacity and identify opportunities for increasing efficiency.• Maintain optimum inventory levels by monitoring inventory levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and implementing measures to minimize excess inventory and stockouts.• Monitor production progress, identify deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions to ensure timely completion of production orders.
