Job Title: IT Control Testing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Control Testing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing comprehensive IT control testing activities.

As an IT Control Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management framework. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive IT control testing plan
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely execution of control testing activities
  • Ensuring that control testing activities are aligned with our organization's risk management framework and regulatory requirements

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Executing control testing activities, including inspection, inquiry, observation, sampling, re-performance, and recalculation
  • Performing end-to-end process walkthroughs, event or thematic reviews, data-driven reviews, and evidence reviews to assess risks and key controls
  • Documenting the results of control testing activities, including any identified deficiencies or issues
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in IT systems, IT Risk management tools, and knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., SOX, PCI, ISO 27001, NIST)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
