As a Key Account Manager at Abbott, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives in assigned markets. Your primary focus will be on driving primary sales, secondary sales, and ensuring brand presence in defined markets.
You will supervise and manage the distributor network to achieve desired sales objectives, ensuring the achievement of financial and ethical objectives of the division as per the business strategy. Your authority will extend to developing customer management plans, approving expiry products, issuing credit notes for distributors, recommending appointments and credit limits, and developing and executing resource utilization plans.
You will play a crucial role in the division's success, and your experience in handling KOLs and managing institutions will be valuable assets in this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute monthly and quarterly business plans to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement demand generation and fulfillment strategies.
- Monitor actual sales and make mid-course corrections to reduce variance against expectations.
- Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and competitors' brands.
- Create and update customer lists with specified numbers of doctors and chemists as per therapy and product requirements.
- Identify potential towns and appoint distributors and customers in line with business philosophy.
- 2-5 years of experience in handling KOLs and managing institutions.
- Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
