We are currently seeking a professional to join our team as a Senior Hydraulic Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on hydraulics and water resources engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex irrigation infrastructure projects, including dams, barrages, micro-irrigation systems, and related hydraulic structures.

This role involves designing, analyzing, and preparing technical documents for these projects, including hydraulic profiles, flow calculations, and detailed drawings. The successful candidate will be proficient in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software, and will have excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing hydraulic structures such as dams, barrages, weirs, spillways, and intake systems, adhering to standard engineering codes and software.
  • Developing micro-irrigation system layouts, pipe network designs, and hydraulic profiles for efficient water distribution.
  • Preparing hydraulic modelling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Creating detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including survey, GIS, and geotechnical teams, for integrated designs.
  • Supporting the preparation of DPRs (Detailed Project Reports).
  • Participating in client meetings, site visits, and review discussions with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in the design and drawing of dams, barrages, canals, micro-irrigation systems, and related structures.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines, and state irrigation department practices.
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
