Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining and advising on security within the Workday application. This includes domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain security within the Workday application
  • Advise on security policies, roles, and role assignments
  • Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security
  • Develop and maintain awareness of divisional and data security and comply with established policies and procedures
  • Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring compliance with security and data privacy standards
  • Stay updated on new security features within the application's future roadmap, and implement where possible
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy
  • Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of Workday security features and controls
  • Knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations
  • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess client needs and situations
  • Working knowledge of HR/Finance information systems, data models, organization structures, and roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT clients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable enforcing adherence to security policies and practices
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
