General Maintenance Supervisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced General Maintenance Supervisor with a strong mechanical background and expertise in MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations for MEP systems, ensuring seamless facility management.
  • Lead maintenance activities for irrigation systems, pumps, pipelines, and related farm equipment, leveraging expertise to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime of facilities and equipment, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to maintain optimal system performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to operational standards, emphasizing continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Manage records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and inventory, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Train and guide maintenance staff to enhance skills and efficiency, promoting a culture of growth and development.
  • Liaise with farm management and other departments to support smooth operations, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, demonstrating strong foundational knowledge.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP maintenance with supervisory responsibilities, showcasing leadership potential.
  • Proven expertise in Irrigation, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical systems, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Prior experience in large-scale agricultural or farm projects is highly desirable, highlighting adaptability and versatility.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and reporting, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work in outdoor farm environments and handle multiple tasks, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
