Branch Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will assist the SBU Head in preparing financial, manpower, capital, and operational budgets. They will ensure that inspection operations are enhanced according to SGS policies and client requirements.

Maintaining labor cost efficiency is crucial by monitoring expenses versus revenue. The Branch Operations Manager will supervise daily staff activities and optimize profitability.

A strong commercial acumen is necessary for developing new and existing business through regular client interactions. Performance monitoring, investigating complaints, and driving zero-defect operations are also key responsibilities.

Acting as a liaison between clients and execution teams including overseas offices is essential. Client communication, complaints, and claims resolution must be handled effectively.

Quality standards and KPIs must be maintained at a high level. Ensuring compliance with client demands and statutory requirements is vital.

Approving certificates, reports, and invoices within set timelines is critical. Analyzing complaints, preparing reports, and driving corrective actions are also key tasks.

Drafting and negotiating contracts with local and international clients requires strong commercial skills. Overseeing commercial issues including credit control and collections is essential for the role.

Managing operations for efficiency, productivity, and quality is paramount. Accurate and timely customer reporting is also necessary.
