About Us:

  • We are a fast-growing bakery and confectionery company.

Role: Lead end-to-end factory operations across multiple shifts, managing two shift supervisors and the production workforce to deliver safe, high-quality output at optimal cost.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Own daily/weekly/monthly production planning, scheduling, and on-time execution across shifts.
  2. Drive efficiency, yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness; reduce waste and downtime through Lean methods.
  3. Enforce Standard Operating Procedures, recipes, and specifications; resolve floor issues quickly.
  4. Plan raw material and packaging requirements with procurement; maintain optimal inventories (First-In-First-Out, freshness).
  5. Oversee manpower allocation, rosters, and overtime; partner with human resources on hiring and staffing.
  6. Lead factory trials and scale-up for new products from pilot to full production.
  7. Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Good Manufacturing Practices, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
  8. Track and report key performance indicators (volume, OEE, yield, waste, productivity); analyze trends and implement improvements.

Requirements

  1. Bakery/Pastry Chef, Food Technology or Engineering background.
  2. 10+ years in production/plant leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery.
  3. Proven multi-shift management and supervisor leadership experience.
  4. Deep knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients.
  5. Strong command of production planning, inventory control, and Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
  6. Working knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, and related food-safety protocols.
