Strategic Financial Leader

Vardhman Group is seeking a talented Chartered Accountant to lead our financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and compliance activities.
You will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sound financial decision-making to support our organization's objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Closing Process Management: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Strategic Financial Advice: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management, the board of directors, and stakeholders, supporting decision-making and long-term planning.
- Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to identify key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Tax Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, including the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns and VAT/GST returns.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies, coordinating audit processes and responding to inquiries or requests for information.
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance guidelines.
- Special Projects and Mentoring: Lead or participate in special projects, initiatives, or system implementations related to finance and accounting, driving process improvements and efficiency gains. Mentor, train, and supervise junior accounting staff.
