Procurement Leadership Opportunity

The Procurement Leader will oversee the procurement function for a business by creating and implementing effective sourcing strategies. Key responsibilities include strategic procurement planning, operational procurement, vendor and contract management, systems adoption, and risk management.

  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Drive bulk buying and project-based procurement for long lead items.
  • Evaluate and onboard new vendors with technical and commercial screening.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production or related field, MBA preferred.
  • 15–20 years of experience in project procurement, with at least 5–7 years in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with technical specifications of projects and bought-out items.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of project procurement, rate contracting, and e-auctions.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle), MS Excel, Power BI, and PLM platforms.
  • Understanding of commercial terms, INCOTERMS, and import/export documentation.
