Job Title:

A forward-thinking Chief Innovation Officer is required to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our student and faculty experience application landscape, organizational information systems, IT support and infrastructure systems, and future-state Technology landscape.

About the Role:

This role involves driving the creation of all technology needs, establishing a modernization roadmap, managing 24/7 technology operations, and ensuring robust cybersecurity measures are in place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement technology solutions for UoPeople's students and faculty
  • Develop a technology modernization strategy to enhance speed of delivery and cost optimization
  • Manage technology operations around the clock to optimize usage of infrastructure
  • Establish and maintain effective cybersecurity measures to safeguard data and technology assets
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science; Master's degree preferred
  • Over 20 years of experience in senior technology leadership roles
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in education technology
