Chief Technology Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems to ensure high availability and performance.\
• Oversee the desktop engineering team to provide end-user support and ensure smooth operation of desktop computing resources.\
• Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of systems and maintain compliance with industry regulations.\
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions that align with company objectives and compliance requirements.\
• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.\
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and maintain documentation and procedures for audits.\
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.\
• Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, within budget and on schedule.\
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and integrate relevant advancements into the company's IT strategy to maintain a competitive edge.\
• Technical Skills:\

  • Advanced experience managing and troubleshooting VM environments, with expertise in hypervisor technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.\
  • Expertise in software & hardware troubleshooting across a range of systems and platforms.\
  • Strong experience in network architecture and internet connectivity, including management of IP addressing, subnetting, and routing protocols.\
  • Proficient in Active Directory management, including group policies, user provisioning, and authentication services.\
  • Excellent in network administration, including configuring routers, switches, firewalls (specifically Palo Alto), and VPNs.\
  • Experienced with server management, including installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and Ubuntu servers.\
  • Familiar with AI/ML configurations (ex: CUDA) to support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives.\
  • Understanding and familiarity with GPU/HPC servers.\
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including threat analysis, risk assessment, incident response, and security monitoring.\
  • Familiarity with software development frameworks and languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript for effective collaboration with development teams.\
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.\
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services such as Azure AD, EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.\
  • Experience with IT service management tools and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow), and the ability to align IT services with business needs.\
  • Education:\

    • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science (OR) MCA\
    • 8-10 years of experience\
    • At least 3-4 years of experience in leading/managing an IT team/projects\
    • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, ITIL) are preferred.\
