Job Title:

Structural Engineer - Commercial

  • An exceptional Structural Engineer with expertise in commercial projects is sought to analyze and design building structures.
About the Role:

A highly analytical individual with a strong problem-solving mindset is required for this position. The ideal candidate will possess experience in designing steel and concrete buildings, preparing detailed design calculation reports, and reviewing drawings and layouts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with other disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to develop clash-free system designs. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to self-check and produce accurate work, and a willingness to advance in career by taking increased responsibilities are essential.

This role requires compliance with safety policies, effective communication with other engineering disciplines, and a commitment to being a team player able to work on own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and design of superstructures and foundations
  • Design of steel and concrete buildings
  • Preparation of detail design calculation reports
  • Review of drawings and layouts
  • Geotechnical report review and analysis
  • Review of equipment vendor drawings and fabrication drawings
  • Coordination with other disciplines and stakeholders
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
  • Masters in Structural Engineering an added advantage
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with commercial construction projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
