Civil Structural Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Design Specialist to fill this challenging role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural components and systems using advanced engineering principles and software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural components and systems using advanced engineering principles and software tools
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations and specifications to support design decisions
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project plans
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development through knowledge sharing and guidance
  • Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to create and manage structural models

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 05-08 years of experience in civil or structural engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
