Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to fill the role of Senior Specialist in Data Science. This dynamic individual will be part of a collaborative team that works closely with partners across various therapeutic areas.

The ideal candidate should possess prior experience in healthcare analytics or consulting sectors, as well as hands-on experience in building end-to-end machine learning models and generating AI-based applications. Familiarity with physician and patient-level data from leading vendors such as IQVIA, Komodo, and Optum is also preferred.

A strong foundation in statistics and machine learning, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential for effective collaboration with executive and business stakeholders.

  • Select analytical techniques and model methods best suited to solve complex business problems
  • Ensure sharing of best practices across the organization
  • Enable the delivery of data-analytics and Gen AI projects while having deep knowledge of supported technologies and understanding complexity/dependencies between multiple teams, platforms (people, technologies)
  • Communicate intensively with other platform/competencies to comprehend new trends and methodologies being implemented/considered within the company ecosystem
  • Understand customer/stakeholders business needs/priorities and help build solutions that support our business goals
  • Lead & Participate in community of practice leveraging experience from delivering complex analytics projects.
  • Design machine learning systems and software to automate predictive modeling
  • Transform data science prototypes and apply appropriate ML algorithms and tools
  • Develop ML algorithms to analyze large volumes of historical data to make predictions
  • Establish and manage close relationships with customers/stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree with 9+ years industry experience

Key Technical Skills: Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Development

Experience: Prior experience in healthcare analytics or consulting sectors; HCP Analytics, Segmentation and Targeting and Patient Level Data analytics (e.g., creating Patient Cohorts, knowledge of Lines of Therapy, Persistency, Compliance, etc.)
