Job Description">

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our data science efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive data science strategy that aligns with corporate objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced analytics, with 10+ years of experience in managing high-performing data science teams. They will be responsible for steering projects from problem framing through production, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation.

The Data Science Manager will also be responsible for establishing and enforcing best practices for code quality, version control, MLOps pipelines, model governance, and responsible AI safeguards.

In addition, the successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems via robust APIs, dashboards, or workflow automations with well-defined SLAs.

They will also manage cloud and on-prem analytics environments, optimizing performance, reliability, and cost, while negotiating vendor contracts and influencing platform roadmaps as needed.

A key aspect of this role is championing a data-driven culture by communicating insights and model performance to senior leadership through clear storytelling, visualizations, and actionable recommendations.

Finally, the Data Science Manager will stay abreast of emerging techniques, regulatory trends, and tooling in AI/ML, piloting innovations that keep us at the forefront of data science practice and compliance requirements.
