Digital Transformation Project Lead

We are a digital transformation specialist, seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead internal teams and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects in line with our strategic goals.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and the internal team, managing expectations, and maintaining responsibility for all project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client expectations, communication, and delivery on a daily basis.
• Own the project and its deliverables, ensuring completion, direct communication with clients and stakeholders, and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and associated documents, estimating resources and participants needed, and overseeing the project lifecycle using defined methodologies.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, update financial forecasts, and recommend budget changes as necessary.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations, ensuring clear and consistent communication channels.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans, documenting all blockers, changes, and risks, and maintaining a centralized tracker accessible to the client.
• Define project success criteria, conduct project post-mortems, and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Utilize tools such as Confluence for documentation, ensuring all project meetings are documented, and necessary parties are notified, and collaborate with QA to plan and execute project demos.
• Address blockers with the internal team to keep the project on track, ensuring all team members have necessary access to resources, and send out client status reports summarizing project work, budget status, changes, risks, and action items.
• Understand cross-platform/project requirements and dependencies, collaborating with other Project Managers, and conduct weekly internal meetings to review concerns and issues with leadership and planning.
• Own the release management process, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives, and oversee planning, execution, and post-release activities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams to ensure smooth and efficient release processes, conducting release readiness reviews, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution on a platform like SFCC.
• Strong familiarity with project management and release management software, such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar tools.
• Solid working knowledge of current IT technologies across a broad range of solutions, with a focus on release management processes and methodologies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal and operational skill sets to facilitate collaboration across teams.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, managing both project and release schedules.
• Extensive experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance, deliverables, and outcomes, including release cycles.
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive projects to completion, ensuring successful release deployments.
• Ability to lead development/implementation teams, coordinating release activities, and ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
• Experience in conducting release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and managing post-release activities.
• Skilled in facilitating communication and collaboration for efficient release processes, monitoring, and reporting on release progress.
• Experience in implementing and improving release management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
