Green Mobility Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead the implementation of green mobility initiatives in Indian cities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, environmental science, or a related field, and proven experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and policy development.

The ideal candidate will be able to analyze complex data sets, develop innovative solutions, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including government officials, community groups, and industry partners.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of green mobility projects, including low emission zones, electric vehicle adoption pathways, and non-motorized transport integration.
  2. Analyze data on urban mobility challenges and develop evidence-based solutions to mitigate their effects.
  3. Engage with stakeholders, including government officials, community groups, and industry partners, to build support for green mobility initiatives.
  4. Develop and implement policies and regulations to promote sustainable transportation options and reduce air pollution.
  5. Collaborate with teams to design and implement tactical urbanism trials to test improvements and gather feedback.
  6. Conduct training and capacity-building activities to raise awareness and build capacity on street design and road safety principles.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in environmental science, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and policy development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools (e.g., ArcGIS, R).
  • Hindi and English fluency is a must.
