Project Coordinator Position

Job Overview:

  • Collaborate with various organizations and stakeholders, including facilities management teams and security professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical specifications for security system installations.
  • Oversee security system design implementations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct site surveys, estimate costs, and propose solutions to installation issues.
  • Review vendor proposals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare project status reports bi-weekly.
  • Manage project databases, ensuring accurate information and uploaded documents.
  • Complete project close-out reviews of as-built drawings, testing documents, and photos of installations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Lenel systems required.
  • Effective communication skills for complex concepts and sensitive issues.
  • Fluent English language skills (writing and speaking).
  • Fundamental understanding of physical security systems technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of architectural design and construction processes.
  • Travel may be required for site commissioning and kick-off meetings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Certification in project management (PMP) or Certified Security Project Manager (SIA) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or computer information systems preferred.
