Job Title: Strategy and Solution Specialist

At Nasdaq, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategy and Solution Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Pre-Sales organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and prospects in their journey to adopt our Calypso solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to Calypso RFI/RFP requirements from prospects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide support to the prospect/client-facing team in loading data and crafting scenarios for Proof-of-Concept activities.
  • Work on Pre-Sales enablement activities, such as crafting and maintaining centralized presentation decks and reusable content for response libraries.
  • Extend required support to the Pre-Sales Organization in a professional manner and to agreed-upon time frames.
  • Identify and flag product gaps for vital prospect/client communication by Pre-Sales.
  • Achieve Calypso product expertise over time and be able to deliver Calypso product overview demos.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales/R&D to provide feedback on issues with current products/modules and provide input on new products/modules.
  • Research, liaise, and work with R&D and Pre-Sales to gather information and update "Pre-Sales Environments" from time to time.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant new Calypso features/releases and demonstrate a high willingness to learn in areas of innovation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Treasury Solutions.
  • Good understanding of the financial industry and at least 3 asset classes, such as Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Options, Fixed Income, Money Market, Security Finance, FX, Commodity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, and Structured Products.
  • Expertise in at least 3-4 Middle Office capabilities, including Historical/Monte Carlo VaR, Simulations, FRTB (SA-MR and IMA), SA-CCR, Profit and Loss Computations, XVA, Limits and Compliance (Risk, Concentration, Approved Investment, Credit Limits), Trade Lifecycle, Portfolio Analysis, Benchmark Construction and Analysis, Performance Measurement and Attribution.
  • Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment.
  • Minimum educational qualification: Graduation (BE/BTech/Science), MBA, Post-Graduation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sales orientation with a consulting mindset.
  • Experience in end-to-end Pre-Sales/Project Implementation.
  • Domain expertise in Treasury Solutions of Calypso, Murex, FIS, and Finastra, etc.
  • Experience in RFP response or Product/Client Demo is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of Java, JBoss, Spring Boot, Oracle is a plus.
