Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Preparation Professional to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food, and ensuring high-quality presentation.

  • You will operate various kitchen appliances, including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Your attention to detail will be crucial in testing foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • You must monitor food quality while preparing food to ensure it meets our standards.
  • You will set up and break down your work station efficiently, serving food in proper portions onto suitable receptacles.

You will wash and disinfect the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Additionally, you will check the temperature of appliances and food to ensure it is correct. You must follow all company policies and procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager, complete safety training and certifications.

You are expected to maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times. You must also maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets, and communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.

You will be required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. You may need to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
