Mobile Game UI Lead Position Overview

This role involves leading a team of 3+ UI/UX designers to ensure timely delivery of design work. Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary for success.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of UI/UX designers in creating user-centric, clutter-free, and engaging mobile game UI.
  • Translate briefs into effective design concepts with the CEO, Product Managers, and Game Designers.
  • Analyze top mobile games to stay updated on design best practices and industry trends.
  • Design high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, prototypes, and screen flows based on requirements or feedback.
  • Maintain visual consistency across all UI elements and make informed design decisions independently.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 6-7 years of experience in UI/UX design for mobile games/apps.
  • Proven track record of leading a design team and shipping multiple apps/games as a UI/UX Designer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Interaction Design, HCI, or equivalent design field experience.
  • Expertise with prototyping and design tools (Axure, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong graphic design foundation (color theory, composition, typography).
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with Unity 3D is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of visual design principles, style guidelines, creative workflows, and UX optimization.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to give/receive constructive feedback.
  • Team player with passion for mobile gaming and detail-oriented mindset.
