Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to oversee end-to-end U.S. accounting operations, ensuring seamless financial management and compliance.

About the Role:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process weekly timesheets and client invoices in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate accuracy of payroll and accounting data submissions.
  • Analyze and present regular and ad-hoc reports using QuickBooks for informed decision-making.
  • Effectively manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate General Ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Monitor and maintain purchase order expirations and related documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date master data for employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Coordinate with state agencies on payroll, unemployment, and tax matters.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in U.S. accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in staffing or consulting environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proven experience in payroll, accounts payable, and expense management.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is mandatory, with advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and analytical prowess.
