Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Control Assurance professional to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

This role involves ensuring that our internal controls are operating effectively, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics techniques and principal risks such as data governance, data lineage, data quality, records management, people risk, supplier risk, premises, and GRS.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in Controls Assurance/Testing, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results and improving process efficiency. A graduate degree or equivalent is also required.

A key aspect of this role is communicating effectively across a global team to drive business outcomes. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential for this position.

In addition to these core requirements, we value relevant professional certifications (CA, CIA, CS, MBA) or equivalent, knowledge of process re-engineering e.g. LEAN / DMAIC / Value Mapping, experience working within the financial services industry, and experience working in a risk, control, audit, or governance function.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can consolidate and process information from multiple sources to create meaningful insights and reporting for stakeholders. Experience with databases and data science/analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) is highly valued.
