Risk and Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a seasoned risk professional to lead our investment risk management initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Assess, manage, and mitigate various types of risks such as market, credit, operational, liquidity, and regulatory risks by implementing effective strategies and supporting related projects.
  • Evaluate investment portfolios to identify exposure to different risk factors and implement solutions to ensure optimal investment outcomes for individual clients.
  • Monitor market conditions, investment trends, and risk exposures, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer in Operational Risk and Internal Audit engagements, contributing to review of new products, processes, and activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in risk management software and tools, and excellent communication skills to convey complex risk information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience interacting with regulatory bodies on risk management topics and understanding of relevant regulatory landscapes is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with an Investments / Analytics background are suitable.
  • Prior experience in Wealth Management, Mutual Funds, PMS, or Alternate Investments is preferred.
