Enterprise Data Engineer Position

As a senior data engineer with extensive experience in Palantir Foundry and data engineering technology, you will lead a team of engineers with diverse backgrounds in developing and maintaining applications across production and operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain applications on the Palantir Foundry platform to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop, optimize, and automate data pipelines and workflows for efficient data management.
  • Perform data integration, analysis, and visualization tasks to ensure data quality and integrity; implement best practices for data governance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and solve complex issues within the Palantir Foundry environment through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to team members, guiding them in delivering data-driven solutions and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems with prior experience in software and platform engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience, including a deep understanding of Ontology, Code Repositories, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Quiver, Contour, and data integration techniques.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Spark, Scala, and SQL, with expertise in ETL processes and data modeling.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with stakeholders, influence decisions, and manage project timelines effectively.
  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering.
