Technical Support Role Overview

Our organization seeks a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide expert assistance for software technical issues related to web and mobile applications.

This role requires collaboration with Client Success teams, internal departments, and external partners to deliver exceptional customer support.

  • Provide technical support to users, including customer service teams, clients, and partners.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team based in India.
  • Assist QA lead with quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root of their problem.
  • Propose workarounds to customers when a fix will take time to be released.
  • Deliver timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications.
  • Develop procedural documentation for support purposes.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and test new releases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Ability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm Central Time).
  • Experience with tech support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS.
  • Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Experience with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello.
  • Communication and texting experience is an asset.
  • Certifications in Linux, Java, Web Development, and AWS are beneficial but not required.
  • Experience using AI tools for daily tasks.
  • Capacity to develop a developer mindset to quickly scale into a developer with minimal training.
  • Detailed orientation and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
