Job Description

This role involves handling a mix of commercial and consumer lines, focusing on growth in GPW/Non Motor GPW and maintaining hygiene through cheque bounce and receivables management. Key responsibilities include retention, recruitment, activation, managing producer pipelines, coaching agents to cross-sell and grow their business, and ensuring compliance with IRDA regulations.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
  • Meet overall fiscal budget targets through multi-line budget achievement

Achieve 100% of budget periodically and annually by implementing service excellence standards, which include issuing policies within 7 days, refunds within 10 days, and quotes within 48 hours within branch authority. Additionally, ensure timely claim settlements with agreed turnaround times (TAT).

Stakeholder Interfaces

Develop strong relationships with various stakeholders while fostering an environment of open communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 3-6 years of experience in the general insurance industry or equivalent field
  • Graduation degree from any professional institution
  • Insurance certification at Associate level (desired)
