At KayOne, we're building a powerhouse of finance expertise that empowers high-growth companies to thrive. As our next CFO team lead, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial backbone.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of experience who's passionate about scaling systems and driving strategic decisions. You'll work closely with founders, investors, and auditors to ensure our books are closed on time, MIS and analysis are reliable, and the company is always investor- and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly and annual book closure, ensuring accuracy of accounts
  • Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actual)
  • Drive financial planning, variance analysis, and performance reviews
  • Establish systems, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, investor, and audit requirements
  • Manage and track Capital Table and investor obligations
  • Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting
  • Lead audit readiness and compliance tracking across functions

Based in Chennai, this full-time role requires strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills. Experience in audit, investor reporting, fundraising support, or due diligence is an added advantage.

You will be part of a dynamic team that works directly with founders on strategic financial decisions, exposing you to investor relations, fundraising, and compliance at scale.

We're looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to take ownership beyond routine tasks. If you have more than 5 years of experience, please do not apply as we're looking for someone to grow into a strategic finance leader within our CFO practice.
