Financial Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Entry and Invoice Processing:
  • Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry and invoice processing.
  • Help with the preparation of financial reports and documents.
Documentation & Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filed and accessible for auditing or reporting.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Assist in tracking payments and receivables.
  • Help with billing clients and reconciling incoming payments.
Bank Reconciliation:
  • Support the senior team in reconciling bank statements.
  • Identify and correct discrepancies in records.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Provide data or basic analysis to help with financial planning.
  • Assist in monitoring department budgets.
Client & Vendor Coordination:
  • Communicate with clients and vendors to handle queries regarding payments or invoices.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding dues.
Software Use:
  • Work with accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems to enter and manage financial data.
Internal Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with internal teams like sales, procurement, and HR for billing and payroll-related activities.
Compliance & Audit Support:
  • Ensure transactions comply with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Support internal or external audits with the necessary documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under supervision
