Job Description:

The Senior Accounting Manager will oversee the entire accounting and financial management operations of an organization. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on expertise in managing end-to-end accounting, compliance, audits, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  2. Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
  3. Oversee budgeting, cost control, and expense management, implementing cost optimization strategies for manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  4. Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, handle tax compliances, and liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
  5. Manage internal, statutory, and tax audits, strengthen internal controls, and implement financial risk management processes.
  6. Oversee vendor payments, client receivables, credit control, and reconciliations, handling domestic and international transactions including forex and export documentation.
  7. Lead and mentor the accounts team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operations, implementing process improvements and adopting technology to drive automation.
Role Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (ICWA) preferred.
  • Minimum 7–12 years of accounting & finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing/export industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI compliance.
  • Expertise in ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with export-import documentation and international transactions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
