About the Position:
The Area Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring operational excellence within their designated area. This individual is responsible for meeting and surpassing business targets, managing team performance, and overseeing studio-level administrative matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Growth: Meet and exceed business targets across the area by focusing on key parameters such as footfalls, conversions, orders, buyers, sales, spread, and cost management.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure that business and operational targets are met at a granular level across specific revenue streams, including inbound, outbound, partners, builders, modular, B2B, etc., and productivity at the studio/consultant level.
- Team Management: Maintain a well-coordinated team by training, coaching, and monitoring team members' skills in sales, customer handling, brand and product knowledge, data maintenance, and report creation.
- Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate seamless knowledge transfer and operational readiness for all key activities among team members by coordinating with central teams and merchant partners.
- Event Planning: Develop and implement area and studio-level plans for events and initiatives to enhance local visibility, improve footfalls, and create community excitement.
- Central Programs: Oversee the management of central-level programs related to channel partners, design partners, bulk partners, etc., adhering to pre-defined processes and success metrics.
- Studio Maintenance: Ensure the studio is well-maintained, conducting regular audits of upkeep and maintenance status, and directing Studio Managers accordingly.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory tracking, ensuring furniture and non-furniture inventory, fixed assets, and visual merchandise-related items are secure and up-to-date.
- Administrative Matters: Handle studio-level administrative matters efficiently, including monthly budgets, bill and voucher cross-checking, and payment recommendations.
- Customer Centricity: Foster a high degree of customer-centricity within the studio team, resulting in improved sales closing, long-term relationships, and enhanced customer experience and resolutions.
