Job Title: Taxation Specialist

Summary:

  • An exciting opportunity exists for a taxation specialist to join our dynamic team.

Description:

  • This role involves supporting assessment proceedings with tax authorities, liaising with tax authorities for ongoing matters, and drafting rectification applications and related submissions.
  • The successful candidate will conduct research on direct tax and transfer pricing issues and prepare technical submissions.
  • Responsibilities also include preparing replies to be filed before tax authorities, preparing and filing corporate tax returns, independently handling TDS returns, and preparing advance tax computations based on estimates.
  • In addition, the candidate will assist in advising on international tax matters, including interpreting provisions of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (2021–2024 batch)
  • 1–4 years of relevant tax experience (Big 4 preferred) and/or MNC
  • Exposure to corporate tax and international taxation
