Job Title:

US Tax Professional

Sikich seeks a skilled US tax professional with 0-3 years of experience in GAAP general accounting. The ideal candidate will collect tax forms, track client paperwork, prepare tax returns, and produce accurate tax reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project deliverables and client engagements effectively.
  • Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns accurately.
  • Assist experienced associates drive deliverable completion.
  • Research and assess difficult tax issues to identify solutions efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain the company's tax database securely.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to authorities promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes related to taxes.
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports within deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's Degree in Accounting with US taxation experience.
  • Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification (or progress towards certification) – preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong client relationships.
  • Motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other US accounting systems is essential.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
