Job Profile

This role requires an in-depth understanding of the Indian Vertical Transportation market, promoting our local VT profile and generating sales through business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep comprehension of the customer, competitor, authority, and regulation VT landscape in India.
  • Provide market insights for updating and fine-tuning our VT strategy for India.
  • Create a business development plan to implement growth plans and meet agreed sales targets.
  • Promote us as a leading VT authority in India.
  • Identify and create sales leads through networking, industry observation, and effective sales channels.
  • Manage customer relationships, understand their structure, needs, and constraints.
  • Scale the business by expanding the customer base and retaining existing customers.
  • Prepare sales presentations and materials in collaboration with our team.
  • Coordinate with global VT experts for joint customer presentations and visits.
  • Collaborate with other departments and monitor upcoming events to prepare and coordinate participation.
  • Ensure smooth operations in accordance with our Quality Management System and customer satisfaction.
  • Assume P&L responsibility for our VT activities in India.
  • Prepare regular progress reports.
  • Plan and manage resources, including recruitment, development, and leadership of VT experts.
  • Ensure VT experts receive necessary training and adhere to their personal development plans.
  • Manage authorization levels in accordance with our Quality Management System.

Education
  • Bachelor Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical).
  • Master degree beneficial, particularly a business-oriented one (MBA).
