About the Job
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to oversee all human resource operations, ensuring alignment with our business strategy and objectives.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices that support our organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Hiring:
  • Draft job descriptions, develop interview plans, and screen candidates in accordance with company requirements.
  • Build a robust candidate pipeline through effective use of job boards, social media, and referrals.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, role expectations, and team structures.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and ensure timely communication with candidates.
Employment Contracts and HR Policies:
  • Create, update, and maintain compliant employee contracts, ensuring adherence to UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and revise the employee handbook and company policies, guaranteeing clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Handle queries related to HR policies, including leave, probation, working hours, and other employment matters.
Timesheet Management:
  • Implement a streamlined timesheet submission process for employees and contractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure proper project and time tracking protocols are followed by collaborating with department leads.
Invoicing and Payments:
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely salary disbursals, contractor payments, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, incentives, bonuses, and one-time payments.
Employee Engagement, Rewards, and Culture:
  • Lead initiatives promoting employee engagement, including birthday and festival gifting, appreciation notes, and team bonding activities.
  • Coordinate bonus and incentive programs aligned with performance evaluations and company goals.
Study Policy and Professional Development:
  • Administer the study leave and exam reimbursement policy, ensuring fairness and equity.
  • Track certification attempts, submissions, leave taken for exams, and required documents for reimbursement eligibility.
Onboarding and Exit Management:
  • Design and execute a structured onboarding process, including welcome communication, documentation, access setup, and orientation.
  • Conduct offboarding, including resignation acceptance, handover coordination, and exit interviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably within a startup or consultancy environment.
  • Sound understanding of HR operations, UK employment regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with tools like Microsoft Excel and HR software or trackers.
