Corporate Legal Advisor

    We are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Advisor to join our legal department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring and mitigating risk and compliance issues across various areas, including regulatory compliance, data protection, and cyber security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and mitigate risk and compliance issues in areas such as regulatory compliance, data protection, and cyber security.
  • Provide guidance on reviewing and drafting policies, SOPs, and guidance notes related to regulatory compliance.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention management.
  • Support cyber security compliance and risk management, including advising on disclosure requirements and interacting with external vendors.
  • Advise on immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA, including review of policy/guidance documents relating to business travel and work visa regulations.
Qualifications
  • LLB/LLM degree along with relevant experience as a compliance counsel preferably in MNCs.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Independent project management skills, including interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage/support on review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
