Legal Manager

The legal manager is a key role in any organization, responsible for managing legal affairs and risks. This includes overseeing the structuring of transactions, negotiating arrangements, and resolving legal problems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage litigation, arbitration, mediation, NCLT, rent matters, cheque dishonor, criminal complaints, and other disputes.
  • Handle issues pertaining to trademarks of TCIL/SOTC/TCI & other TC group companies.
  • Render legal advice on various business agreements/projects.
  • Strategize and drive to maximize recovery value.
  • Communicate with government and regulators, authorities, etc.
  • Advisory services for brand equity and image building.
  • Update management regarding contingent liabilities and litigation costs.
  • Advise on property matters pertaining to obtaining premises on leave and license basis.
  • Finalize criminal complaints in cases of fraud cases and coordinate with security consultants.
  • Assist and render legal advice in POSH matters.
  • Vetting of business contracts, data protection agreement, and GDPR compliant documents.
  • Vetting of agreements under special projects and assignments.
  • Draft critical agreements and advise on critical agreements during Covid-19 phase.
