Technical Support Expertise

At the core of our organization lies a team of skilled Technical Support Specialists. These professionals play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless customer experiences.

The primary focus of this position is on resolving complex software and hardware issues through meticulous diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

  • Effective communication with customers is essential to understand their problems and provide clear explanations of technical information.
  • A profound understanding of networks, protocols, and security concepts is crucial for this position.
  • The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of supported Linux/Unix operating systems, product software, and hardware.

Responsibilities:

This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues in a timely manner, tracking issues through to resolution within agreed time limits, escalating unresolved issues to internal teams as necessary, providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers, documenting technical knowledge in the form of knowledge base articles, creating and delivering product knowledge sharing sessions, and more.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of networks, CCNA, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Deep knowledge of supported Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Knowledge of product software and hardware.
  • Advanced understanding and experience of networks, firewalls, protocols.
  • Extensive understanding and experience of virtualization & cloud concepts.

Work Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a technical role aligned to the same field with customer support experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
  • Certification in Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, or similar fields is desirable.
